Setup Guide

Everything you need to get Aquarian Engine P2 running on your platform.

1. Installation

For MT4

  1. Locate your MT4 data folder: File → Open Data Folder
  2. Navigate to MQL4/Experts/
  3. Copy AquarianEngineP2.ex4 into this folder
  4. Restart MetaTrader 4
C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[ID]\MQL4\Experts\

For MT5

  1. Locate your MT5 data folder: File → Open Data Folder
  2. Navigate to MQL5/Experts/
  3. Copy the EA file into this folder
  4. Restart MetaTrader 5

2. Chart Setup

  1. Open a GBP/USD chart
  2. Set timeframe to M15 (15-minute)
  3. Drag Aquarian Engine P2 from the Navigator panel onto the chart
  4. In the settings dialog, ensure "Allow live trading" is checked
  5. Click OK to activate

Important: Aquarian Engine P2 is designed specifically for GBP/USD on M15 timeframe. Using other pairs or timeframes may produce unexpected results.

3. Recommended Broker Settings

  • Account type: ECN or Raw Spread (lower spreads = better)
  • Leverage: 1:100 or higher
  • Spread: Under 2.0 pips on GBP/USD preferred
  • Execution: Market execution (no dealing desk)
  • VPS: Recommended for 24/5 operation (NY4 or London data center)

4. Risk Management

The bot includes built-in risk management with ATR-based dynamic stops. Default settings are optimized for a $1,000+ account. Adjust lot sizes based on your account balance:

  • $1,000 account: 0.01 lot (micro)
  • $5,000 account: 0.05 lot
  • $10,000+ account: 0.10 lot
